This path contains most of the new content in Date Ariane Remastered, including about 6 achievements, visiting the “Nude” exhibit of the museum, a beatnik style coffee joint, and the amusement park that has been expanded.

It starts with Pizza Dinner or Steak Dinner completed first.

This path is available in the help section of the game. On the main menu click “Help” then click “Paths” on the top row, and next to where it says “A Little Bit of Culture” click “Enable”, then load up a save of pizza dinner or steak dinner. Correct choices will be highlighted in Magenta. Note: Where there is more than one choice, you might have to do one, then the other when you get to the choice page again. If you did not save an opening, enable “Pizza Dinner” or “Steak Dinner” as well and start a new game from the beginning.

In classic Date Ariane, going for a drive depended on how many drinks Ariane had. one or less and she drives, two or more and you drive, but there is now a path that means you can’t drive either, by having wine after dinner. Opportunities can be found in the living room or the backyard.

The “Call for a Ride” option is new to this version of the game. It brings two expanded old locations, the art museum and amusement park, as well as a new coffee bar. This path will take you to all three.

The new “nude art” display has 12 possible paintings, of which you will visit 6 at random with no repeats. The answers are “The Cat”, “His Foot”, “Gericault”, “Cubism”, “Van Gogh”, “Bougereau”, “Renoir”, “Inferno”, “Nymphs”, “Cezanne”, “38”, and “Rembrandt”

After two paintings are displayed, you come to a display where you can photograph yourself in the Venus de Milo. If you got the first two questions right, this should unlock “Nude Art” achievement:

You then get 4 more pictures that Ariane will ask about without her dress on.

Next up the coffee shop, which has a number of right answers, this is my favorite:

Avoid the crowd and just explore the park

This last choice is one of three, all of which have achievements: “Follow the crowd” and “Go for food” will open up “The Vortex” and “Dizzy” achievements pretty easily. So we’ll focus on the third, which has the hardest puzzle and the hardest finish.

The puzzle is similar the recently very popular Wordle game (as of early 2022, it’s popularity will likely wane in another month or so) It uses the original “allowed” list of 5 letter words prior to the games purchase by the New York Times, but the list of possible answers I got from this list of 500 popular 5-letter words in English. For trademark reasons it is not actually called wordle in the game.

I like to start with the words TEACH and PIOUS as it gives you all 5 vowels and 5 popular consonants N, R, D, L, and Y are the most popular letters not in the first two guesses.

It won’t let you in without solving it, but there is a Renpy trick you can do to bypass the lock: Guess until you run out of guesses and it will tell you what the word is, then scroll back and type the right answer in. Bingo!

You are then put in a rather humorous situation. The thing is many of the choices here have 50% chance of failing badly. Here is the easiest way out of the situation:

And you are now at Ariane’s house with you and her fully clothed, ready for more adventures.
