Something’s In The Air Redux version 1.1 is fully voiced, or at least it is as voiced as I plan to make it. As pointed out in a post I wrote last week, I am only focusing on voicing NPC lines relevant to the story.

For the last few months, I’ve been experimenting with using AI voices to voice my visual novels. I started with Strip Crazy Eights, because it was a short game, and ended up not voicing the actual card game part.
That proved to me that voicing every line of every game was unworkable and unnecessary. It also proved to me it was worth doing.

Last week I ran an informal poll to try and decide what hairstyle to use on my next dating sim character. Well the winner of the poll was “The Karla”, but at least a couple of people pointed out that it would be best to take personality into consideration.

I have been experimenting with AI voicing the last few months. It started about 3 months ago when I started experimenting with Eleven Labs AI voicing, and using a free account voiced a part of Rachel Meets Ariane, and posted a video on Reddit here.
