This is a discussion of the bonus for Ariane in Paradise.

The bonus first appeared in version 1.1 and used to be hard to obtain, needing most of the achievements to unlock the bonus. In version 1.5, I made it possible to unlock the bonus simply by getting to the “best ending”, which is the ending where you watch Ariane and Rachel leave for the airport from the hotel lobby, and then after going through the photos you took, you meet a new naked woman named Liv.

Once the game is over, you can click on “Character” on the main screen. If you are eligible for the bonus game you will see a screen like this one:

To start the “bonus”, click “Lose the suits and stats” and the player characters will turn naked. Select your character and start a new game. It plays like normal but with some subtle changes:

1. The stats are not displayed in the lower left corner. You will be notified of new achievements and pictures, but you will not know your charm and sexy score to see how well you are doing. Also the help section where you can get the correct choices pointed out are disabled.
2. You start the game as a naked character, so you meet Ariane naked and spend the whole opening naked. This encourages Ariane to remove her bikini faster during the intro discussion.
3. At Pirates Cove, Ariane will mention to Rachel that she saw you totally naked, which results in a new response from Rachel.
4. On the yacht, the lower deck photo shoot will allow your character to pose partial nude (topless if female, unbuttoned pants if male) and Ariane will agree to pulling her top up and show her tits for a picture which is when the dolphins appear.
5. Also on the yacht, it is easier to get Rachel to pose topless for a picture.
6. Day 2 breakfast, you can eat breakfast wearing nothing but a towel.
7. Wear clothes to unlock the coral dive, but as soon as you boat to the coral, you will take off your clothes from the beginning.
8. On the sail boat, your character will undress when Ariane does, if you play as a rich character.
9. On day 3, when Ariane announces she is spending the day naked, you are allowed to spend the day naked too. This changes the plot somewhat because both of you are naked. Neither of you can get on the shuttle, for example and you both walk, and if the police officer brings you in, you both have to wear raincoats while there.
10. If you spent day 3 naked, and reach the end of the day, there is a all nude party at the end where all the characters in the game show up naked.
11. This unlocks 5 bonus achievements, and a special post credits scene.

The bonus achievements involve meeting another character from earlier in the game naked at the all nude party. There are 5. Two for male avatars only, two for female avatars, and one that shows up in both.

Carmen is for female avatars who go to the Pirates Cove on day 1.
Joelle is for female avatars that do not go to the wrap party on day 3.
Christine is for male avatars that go on the hike on day 2.
Mandy is for male avatars that do not go to the wrap party on day 3.
And Flo is for either gender that did go to the wrap party, and missed Carmen or Christine.

You can change your character’s gender without playing the entire game again by saving, select character at main menu, then loading the save.
