To finish the 2.0 project, I got a working Android version for Ariane in Paradise 2.0. To make it more compatible for phones, I shrank the resolution to 1920×1080 and basically used the 1.5 version with 2.0 graphics. Not as good as the PC version — couldn’t include the new special effects like changing clothes or background scrolling on hikes — but the game now works on your phone with better Daz Studio graphics.

It’s available only on itch.io, download the arianeinparadise-2.0-android.apk (hi resolution) file if you already own the game. or buy the game there. Files on Itch are always available once you own the game.

If you already own the android 1.5 version, the new game will update just fine so you won’t lose settings or achievements, but I noticed some old saved games will not load properly.

Other notes

This is NOT the PC version directly converted to Android.  The PC version is 1440p, and while many phones are capable of 1440p, I decided to keep the size small so it is capable of running on more devices.

Basically the android app is the 1.5 version with the 2.0 graphics.  I took the 2560×1440 images of the PC game and shrank them to 1920×1080 and replaced the old images, the full body player characters were also replaced by the head only 1.5 version.  I also eliminated some of the new effects like walking and traveling with a scrolling background and the player dressing and undressing animations, all to make sure the game came in as small as possible so it is compatible with the most android devices. If it does not work on yours, and you have an old phone, the lores version is still available, but it still uses old pictures.

Two places kept the scrolling backgrounds, the yacht ride on day 1, and the bus ride on day 3. I updated the handful of dialogue lines that needed it due to new pictures. I did not check the Spanish translation on the android version.

The Demo will not be converted to Android.
