Rachel Meets Ariane used to be a separate sequel game to Something’s In The Air and before that was a web based online story that is still available in the wiki.

It is now an unlockable bonus game available in gallery after completing the first ending which becomes available after completing between 20 to 26 of the regular dating paths. Once you complete the ending once, it remains available even if you reset the game. (unless you completely erase the game).

The game is divided into five chapters. The first two will change based on what you did on the last date you played, or you can select a specific date to play off if you completed that ending previously. The variants dependent on previous ending:

• “Blackout Fun” – Ariane will mention seeing Maguffin Job 2, Ariane will not have met Lydia before.
• “Tequila Shots” – Ariane and the player character had a threesome with Lydia (the story makes no difference if the threesome was successful or not, it assumes it was successful)
• “The Photoshoot” – Ariane met Lydia at the club, Rachel did not help Paula create a storm.
• “Gamer Girl” – Ariane met Lydia at the club. Rachel had sex with the player character, and did not help Paula.
• “LARPing with Rachel” – Actually “LARPing with Arch Angel” but correct in game. Ariane met Lydia at the club. Rachel had sex with the player character, and did not help Paula.
• “A New Paint Job” – Ariane met Lydia at the club, Rachel helped Paula create a storm.
• “Something’s In The Air” – Ariane met Lydia at the club, Rachel helped Paula create a storm. This is the canonical path used in Ariane in Paradise and Hopepunk City
• Most other paths will follow one of these patterns depending on the content of those paths.

Note: The story mentions the player character on occasion, sometimes by name. The current name and gender of the player is used even though the player is not in the story. There is a choice in the first ending to retain memory or not, this is also taken into account in the telling of the story especially in chapters 1 and 3.

Chapter 3 Picture paths

There are 12 variations of pictures of Ariane taken by Rachel in chapter 3. Uncovering these 12 is an achievement in the Gallery, so here is how to reach the 12 variants. Click on the image to see the full size version.

Note that the Call Professor Brannigan and arrange for some “clouds” option will not be available if you are using a Rachel date as your base starting point. If it is not there, save the game, go back to the gallery, select a different starting date like “Something’s In The Air”, and then load the saved game. If it still does not give you the option, scroll back to the beginning of the chapter and start the chapter over.

Chapter 4 Top Club paths

There are three different paths through chapter 4 and all three are needed to unlock content in the Notebook section of the gallery.

The short path

The Sexy path

• Yes, Ariane should go with Hiro.
• Rachel should skip the orgy

The funny path

• Yes, Ariane should go with Hiro.
• Rachel should follow Ariane to the orgy
